Breath Counting Meditation

A simple mindfulness technique combining breath awareness with counting for mental clarity.

Instructions

  1. Sit comfortably with eyes closed or softly focused
  2. Take a few natural breaths to settle
  3. On your first exhale, mentally count '1'
  4. On the next exhale, count '2'
  5. Continue counting exhales up to 10
  6. When you reach 10, start over at 1
  7. If you lose count, gently start again at 1
  8. Continue for the duration
